Impressive piece of kitThis bluetooth speaker is absolutely impressive for a device of its size. It really packs a punch. I bought one at a car boot sale for £2 but decided to buy another one, simply because of how impressed I was with the first purchase, and also as a a way to reward the manufacturers for putting out such a great product. I will highly recommend it to everyone who is considering whether to buy one. I can guarantee that you'll be pleasantly surprised at the overall output and the performance.
Recommendations:
1. Improve upon the battery life from the current 6hrs to something slightly longer.
2. Liaise with other manufacturers to design a carrying case or bag for the speaker.
3. Extend the technology to enable connection of multiple devices to one music source.
4. Design a bigger version of the product, probably one which is 10-12in in diameter.

4 years and going strong!!!I bought this 4 years ago, and used it extensively. The bamboo trim bit has fallen off, and the little rubber covering the connectors has also fallen, yet it still holds the charge for 4-5 hours, by far best sounding speaker I’ve had, and it works flawlessly to this day. This purchase was one of the best, and I am about to buy another chant mini :)

Great sound!Bought this as the speakers on my phone were not great. So happy with my purchase. Quality design and awesome sound. The clip is a great idea as can hang it anywhere. Would highly recommend.

Stop working after 7 monthsThe volume and bass was GREAT for a little speaker, however the power bottom just start flashing and then turn off on its own and it would no longer connect

Love itIt has pretty good base, I’m really satisfied with its battery life, and it gets pretty loud. The only thing is that it’s not very durable. I accidentally dropped it from about 4 ft and the wood ring around it broke. But krazy glue fixed it well, so I’m pretty much satisfied.

Love the speaker but my sister broke itThis company is fantastic and I love this speaker, had it since Christmas and it's been great! However, my sister dropped it from about a metre high onto carpet in my house and the top wooden rim has snapped in 2 places so a chunk has fallen off :( the speaker still works but obviously I am still upset that the top has broken as I thought it would be strong enough for this sort of incident.

Great sound but short lifespan..I got my speaker 4 months ago and i have been using it daily for the last 2-3 months, and in that period of time my bluetooth stopped working twice for a week long each time, and now the speaker itself broke completely. can you guys fix it or give advice?

Perfect BT SpeakerBought it a couple years ago on a whim and used it almost daily since, still works just as well as the day I got it. Lasted through camping trips, skiing, kayaking, and daily college life.
I'm not sure of the watt to be honest,but for the size yes it does have a nice base sound,and it's quit loud.

what kind of lead do you need to charge it?

The USB lead supplied. The plug that goes into the Chant is the very small USB type, the plug that goes into the AC adapter is a standard USB2

I have one of these, it’s great, but suddenly today the blue light started flashing and it won’t stop. No matter what I do. I won’t connect to any device either. Help. !

Please go into the Bluetooth settings on your device and wait for "Marley Chant Mini" to appear. press this option and you will be connected. I just purchased one of these little guys. Is there a way to decrease the volume when I turn it on? The volume is very loud when you first turn it on. Very disruptive when I use this at my office.
