Smile Jamaica Wireless Bluetooth In Ear Headphones is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 102.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The sound is fantastic I bought these for work and can't use them enough. I absolutely love the sound of music through them and using them for work calls is just so cool. They're functional, beautiful and ethically sound which makes me very happy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't last 8 hours. Charged up fully yesterday and only lasted 3 hours

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent headphones but fade in is frustrating The headphones have a good battery life. The volume fade in is really a nuisance when using the headphones to listen to audio lessons. I end up missing the first word or two, making them no good for that purpose. I would love to be able to disable that feature. They also tend to slide to the side and off ones neck a little. You can prevent this by tucking it under you collar.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good overall, with some issues First off, the sound is great - no question about it there. Just for the sound, it's worth the price. I also like the overall design of it and I'm able to easily conceal them and they hold on very well either when I'm walking or joggin. Unfortunately, there are some features that are lacking: the level of the battery life cannot be seen and there is no warning that the battery is low. This may sound like a trivial thing, but I use my earphones 5-6 hours a day, so it's nice to have a bit of a warning. Otherwise, I have had some issues with the BT disconnecting even with full charge. For whatever reason, waiting for 20 minutes or so seems to resolve the issue most of the time. So there! good product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality, but TOO LOUD I really like these earbuds, and they are good for doing things hands-free, but I have the volume on one notch, and I can still hear the sound clearly with the earbuds 5 inches away from my head. these are good for noisy rooms, but they are a bit too loud if you're in a quiet place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Bought this recently and I’m very pleased with the sound quality and comfort.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Quality sound but Terrible earphones overall I bought this a month ago, the battery is terrible and it slips out of the ear when you are in motion. The only good thing is the sound quality and packaging, for a bluetooth handsfree, you don't want to be charging ur earphones every other hour

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Excellent quality It’s made of perfect quality, but not practical as it easily comes out from my ear. And it’s not stable at all on the neck as it also slips all the time when i’m moving and i’ve to get back every 10 seconds

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never even worked I haven't even had it 24 hours. I've charged it for the recommended 2 hours (actually, 2 and a half). I followed the instructions, and..! It wouldn't connect to my smart phone, at all. It connected with my laptop, but I had to be right beside my computer and it STILL faded in and out- mostly out. I'm really disappointed. I've owned the Marley Smile In ear earbuds before and loved them, so expected these to be amazing! I'm upset that they didn't reach my expectations...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage Bought them today but they go back to the store tomorrow. The wires going to the earpiece are terrible to much noise if they touch anything.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fell apart I have had them a week and they constantly fail to connect and take hours to charge, they have now started to fall apart and start to sound crackly, very disappointed. Not a recommended purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Battery does not last The battery lasted only 6 hours when I first bought it. Now, just over a year later, it lasts only 45-60 minutes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quit working on the third use I have worn them a total of 1.75 hours and they started flashing red and blue and will not power on. They had been on charge all night. Worthless.I hope to be able to return them to the store I purchased from last week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gift Bought these as a gift for my husband to use whilst exercising (although he just wears them all the time!) he thinks they are great. The sound is excellent and the added bonus of a speaker means he can talk hands free. Would definitely recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reliable and good quality I bought a pair a year ago and I never had an issue. One charge gives me 10 hours of play. I had another pair of Marleys and found that the buds shaped like a funnel from that pair works way better on this one and is noise cancelling. The range is pretty impressive too. I can leave my phone on my desk and walk around the office and still get crisp sound. I’ve been eyeing another pair of more expensive headphones but I am afraid of getting those and being disappointed because these are really good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice overall, but battery life dropping I have these earphones for 9 months. One bud came apart after 90 days, I glued it back together. I use them every night to sleep with white noise. the 8hrs battery play time lasted 5 to 6 months and since has steadily been decreasing to now only lasting max 6hrs and resulting in missed sleep time. Sorry to plug a different brand, but I got Sony's wic400 at best buy on sale for 50$ and those last 20hrs. Even if they drop to 1/2 the capacity over time it will still be more than what the smile's did originally. Sound wise the Marley's kinda sound a bit better but I play white noise...so no point in aiming for sound quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Longest lasted earphones till date for me. I bought them from amazon.in before a year ago and I still have the battery life of 18 hours by 1 full charge in 2 hours. I got the string pulled once getting my sweater off once and I put it back and still works very well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Epic Fail I bought the wireless headphone two weeks ago and they have been a daily point of frustration. They co sistently fail to pair with my iPhoneX. The indicator light flashed all the red and blue colors randomly and fail to turn off or turn on consistently. I have maybe used them twice with on the first couple of days without issues and now they are just a dissapointmemt to look at. Not to mention the constant static in one earbud that sounds like the wire has a shoddy connevtion. I will try replacing them with the manufacturer with hopes of a working pair of headphones, otherwise keep your $60 buck to buy something that actually works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super comfortable, Great range Bought these a couple of months ago and i love them! The design means that there is no weight sitting in your ear so i can wear them all day while i work without my ears getting sore. Also they have great range! I work in an office with 2 floors and I can almost walk anywhere in the office and still maintain the connection to my computer upstairs. I've owned Bluetooth headphones sets before at 2-3 times the price of this pair and honestly only bought these as a short term replacement pair but they are now my go-to headphones and i love them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks good, but that's about it. I brought these headphones as I wanted something affordable and wireless. The sound quality wasn't a bid deal for me and neither was the volume, until I realised it doesn't go loud enough to NOT hear the person next to you talking. The Bluetooth connection is poor and consistently cuts out, even if you are within one metre of the device it's connected to. The most annoying things is, there is no way to see the battery! You just have to monitor how long you use it for before it will die. My first pair were working fine, the Bluetooth connection was okay. One day it just stopped working. I thought maybe the battery had died. I charged it all day, the light would come on when charging, but it refused to turn back on. Fortunately the company I brought it through replaced it promptly with no issue. I was using my replacement pair one day, weeks later, when it made a very loud, (horrible!!) screeching sound, then disconnected. I turned it off and on and it was fine. When I turned it off once I was finished with it, it never turned back on again, even after a full day of charging. Same as before, the light came on when charging, giving me hope it was fine, but I was left very disappointed, again. Overall, whilst this product does look sleek, that is all it has going for it. I'm really disappointed. Of note; I use this product pretty much every day. I also use it at the gym. I do not let it get wet and keep it clean, dry and well looked after in its storage bag where it will not get damaged. I have not dropped it, stood on it or anything else that may have caused this (for either set I have used).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good quality but didn’t last I had them for about three months then they suddenly stopped working, good quality but for me it was a waste of 60$
Date published: 2018-10-07
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good while they lasted I bought this product in white a month and a bit ago and I really liked how they sounded, having a battery and controls that rest against your collar is out of the way and convenient too. Unfortunately in less than 2 months the right earbud is 80% quieter than the left, you can barely hear it. If it wasn't for this they would be perfect buds.
Date published: 2018-10-04
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Used this product about 7 times for the gym is no Bought this product to use when working out, used roughly 7 times and it'sm no lnger taking a charge therefore cant use, i will be returning the product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent earphones This is my 2nd purchase from the Marley range of headphones and earphones and I’m sure it won’t be my last. The build quality and style are great. The sound quality is very good and that coupled with a good price is why I will continue to purchase Marley products that fit my needs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth it Head phones are so quite you can barely hear music walking near a road. They dont cancel out sound they come with garbage ear bud tips that cant fit in hardly any of my friends ears. Elevator music can be heard while im lostening to music on full blast. Going ti have to get an upgradr from the dollar store. So sad!

Q & A

How do i switch off this headset? Does is automatically stop after a certain time of non usage, if yes how many minutes? Or, does it simply stays switch on until the battery is completly discharged?

Asked by: Barbara
Hold the large button on the headset until you hear a powering down noise in the headphones.

They sound great, are comfortable and look fantastic BUT there is interference when the cables rub against anything. For example if I turn my head, the noise of the movement drowns out the music. Is this normal?

Asked by: johns
Update - it's not an electrical issue, it's just the noise of cable rubbing against my shirt amplified by the earbuds. it happens when the phones are off so i assume normal with this type of cable. Routing the cable between the neckband and my skin, away from my shirt helps. Probably having cables made of smooth plastic would help even further but I'll sacrifice the minor noises for how great these look. And it turns out once I'm walking, there's very little noise anyway - thanks

The Smile Jamaica Wireless earphones are certainly capable of handling calls over a Bluetooth connection to a number of devices so should be fine for using with Skype on a compatible device.

Looking at the instructions it seems that to skip up and down tracks you press the plus and minus symbols twice, however this dies not appear to work. Doing this just changes the volume

Asked by: Dantman16
Dear Dantman16, To skip tracks on your device you need to make two quick presses on the plus or minus symbol. If however this does not work with your headphones please kindly contact us on 0203 411 1885 or CS@thehouseofmarley.co.uk and one of our advisers will be happy to assist you.
