Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Vinyl Player This was my first vinyl player I bought after having a CD/Vinyl/Radio set-up. Very pleased with it. However, you should watch the set-up of the player on YT, as the manual/instruction sheet is not very clear. Additionally, the Bluetooth seemed to struggle to recognise a Speaker/Headphone in the beginning. Nonetheless, very happy and pleased with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautifully designed w/ incredible audio This turntable has blown us away with how clear the audio quality is. Admittedly, it makes it sound that we are playing digital audio files as opposed to vinyl records but the nostalgia element + "cool" factor makes it all worthwhile! Very easy to connect to speakers via Bluetooth as well. The only thing I can't recommend enough is watching the House of Marley turntable setup tutorial video available on Youtube before/during setting up your turntable if you are unfamiliar with how to calibrate it appropriately since this will save you from worrying about inadvertently damaging your device - the printout instructions manual that comes with this item is not clear at all on how to set it up properly but the video is a step-by-step guide with clear instructions and visuals. Also, the protective dust cover is made of simple canvas-like material so isn't sturdy but still looks nice and prevents dust accumulation. Very pleased with this purchase, it is a beautifully designed turntable made with quality sustainable materials and amazing audio to match!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great upgrade to The Turntable I bought this via eBay. Eco friendly & secure packaging. Quick dispatch. A very nicely put together turntable which is a modern upgrade with usb, RCAs, pre-amp, headphones jack and Bluetooth. Aesthetically very pleasing to the eye and made with recycled and renewable materials. Bluetooth pairing has a knack to it - push once to turn on; push again to put in search mode and voila! - it paired with my portable speaker and a Bluetooth receiver for existing Hifi passive speakers. I also liked the non-fussy tone arm setup - HoM have a video guide but it’s mostly common sense. And it sounds great. Nice clear sound with crisp treble and full bass. Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great and plays my records flawlessly Easy to put together with the aid of the video. I had to have a couple of goes at balancing the arm as I had a bit of skating to start with, but pretty sure it was my fault (rushing to get it going!) and it was easily fixed on second attempt. Plays my ancient records without problems and they sound great. This also the added bonus of looking fab. Very happy I bought this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great record player Been looking at a bluetooth and normal record player for a while,I know some purists scorn on bluetooth but this for me was essential,I've tried a few other makes but all had problems ie skating, bluetooth unreliable etc. Had mine for over a month now and is great good quality and it works!! Had a few problems with set up but that was me not setting up device before connecting to record player bluetooth. Definitely recommend.

Hello! I am trying to decide on whether to get WiFi turntable or non WiFi- is the sound the same on each or is it better wired?

Asked by: KTJ1
I’m not 100% sure. I guess it depends on the speaker you use. I tried it with my own bose speaker (wasn’t happy) so bought the Marley speaker a week later! It’s amazing! Really great quality sound and looks amazing together on the side board! I was dubious about it not having a ‘fixed cover’ too but actually the dust cover is great and it looks so much better than a cheap plastic lid! Highly recommend- you won’t be disappointed!

Hi, I’ve purchased a HOM wireless turntable, looks great but can’t get the bluetooth to pair with my harman kardon citation one speakers (with 4.2 bluetooth, so that should be no problem). Have send the turntable back and got a new one, but still nothing

Asked by: Ronald Drayer
Had the same issue - the pairing doesn't work quite the same as other bluetooth devices. Give this a go, worked for me: put your speakers in pairing mode; turn the turntable on: press the Bluetooth button once (do not press and hold); press it again (do not press and hold). It should then pair.

I'm having the same trouble with pairing to my bluetooth device (JBL charge 4, bluetooth 4.2) as other people. I've read all the tips and suggestions and none of them seem to work. Any other suggestions?

Asked by: SeanL
Dear SeanL, We are sorry to hear about your experience with your House of Marley turntable. This is a rare occurrence for us. If you have a standard Bluetooth speaker, then there should not be an issue with it pairing with the turntable. Could you please reach out to our team at 0203 441 1885 so we can try to help solve the problem? Kind regards, Team Marley

I am really struggling to pair with either of my two bluetooth speakers, one is a goodmans and the other is and anker, is there some secret I am missing, i turn the speaker on, hit the pair button on the turntable and it flashed, then goes solid red?

Asked by: lucan
Dear lucan, We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing pairing issues with your Bluetooth turntable. Hopefully by following the steps below we can resolve the issue. We would first recommend to disable all nearby Bluetooth devices that may be interfering with the connection between the turntable and speaker - or that were previously paired with your speaker - and ensure that both devices are within 10 meters from each other with no obvious obstruction. This will not have to be repeated upon connecting every time the turntable is operated however, can help with initial pairing issues. Once done we would also ask that you try the following steps: 1) Power off both the turntable and the speaker. 2) Power on both products and put your speaker into pairing mode followed by the turntable via the Bluetooth button, this should initiate pairing mode indicated by a blue flashing light on the turntable. Initiating pairing on Bluetooth speakers varies from manufacturer to manufacturer therefore, we would suggest to consult the user guide of your speaker should you encounter any issues with initiating pairing mode on your speaker. 3) Wait 30 seconds with both products remaining in pairing mode (we would strongly recommend to wait the full 30 seconds). 4) Press the Bluetooth button once again on the turntable, this should refresh the Bluetooth connection and shortly establish a Bluetooth connection between the speaker and turntable. Finally, please double check if the speakers that you are trying to pair are compatible with our turntable. The Bluetooth version on Stir It Up is v4.2. Regretfully we do not have any technical details about your speakers, we would recommend that you try to contact the manufacturer. Kind regards, Team Marley

Can I run this turntable through both wired speakers and Bluetooth at the same time?

Asked by: Turner
Dear Turner, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately it is not possible to use these two functions at the same time. Also, you can connect only one Bluetooth speaker at a time. At least, you may wish to buy a dual Bluetooth speaker such as the NO BOUNDS: https://www.thehouseofmarley.co.uk/bluetooth-speakers/no-bounds-bluetooth-speaker.html The No Bound can be paired with another for stereo sound. Please, since I can use the turntable as a pre amp, can it be connected to an amp without a phono input?

Asked by: Haggadah
Dear Haggadah, The Pre-Amp electronically amplifies the weak analog signal picked up by the stylus and cartridge as it is pressed on to the vinyl. The output signal is strong enough for other downstream processes such as power amplification yet is critical to have little to no noise degradation measured as signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). By default, our Stir It Up turntable produces a PHONO output signal (Pre-amp OFF). However, if you want to connect directly into powered stereo systems and speakers you must supply a pre-amplified line level-signal (Pre-amp ON). Below are some common setups: - Turn Pre-Amp position to ON when using RCA cables to connect directly to powered speakers, such as when using with one of our House of Marley speakers - Turn Pre-Amp position to OFF when using RCA cables to connect to a third-party pre-amp or a stereo receiver that accepts a PHONO input. Kind regards, Team Marley
