Rated 5 out of 5 by ChrisH from Looks and sounds fantastic! I bought my turntable a week ago having got all my old vinyl down from the loft. Paired it up with a Sonos play 5 and it sounds fantastic with the added bonus of being able to stream around my house! Also really pleased as it looks great too! I would highly recommended this turntable and House of Marley are also doing their bit for the planet because it’s made from recycled materials!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Turner from Sensual feast I’ve had the turntable for a fortnight now, and I’m completely stoked with it. Not only does it bring the room to life, but it has reignited the live I had when I was a kid for vinyl... I’ve raided my folks collection for some of those old Lp’s I used to listen to, as well as growing my own collection... Love it

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dazla from Quality at a reasonable price! I love it! The materials, quality, build are all fantastic and the price isn't exorbitant. I just feel (and hope I'm not wrong) that the House of Marley believe in quality above a quick buck! A rare thing these days... this is the second item I have bought from them recently (I also have a Get Together speaker that hits all the weet spots!). I am very happy with both my recent purchases from them and will always consider their itmes first when it comes to audio pleasure!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Liamturvey from No rival. No comparison. Having looked around for a record player which was affordable, looked great, sounded amazing there was little on offer. Then you get to the stir it up. Wonderfully made, ethically sourced, there are no recorded players for under £150 that are built this well. From its scripture down the arm. To the counter balance dial. The sound is crisp and pure. The only draw back is the switch to lift the arm feels cheap and a last minute thought. This aside the whole package is a credit to the house of marley

Do I need to buy an amp with this and what speakers would you recommend?
Dear OneLove, No you do not need to buy an amp for this turntable. However there is a inbuilt pre-amp should you wish to connect on in the future. In regards to speakers I personally use one of the Large Get Together speakers with my turntable: https://www.thehouseofmarley.co.uk/bluetooth-speakers/get-together-bluetooth-portable-speaker-sb.html This is not just because I love the sound quality but also because it matches the turntable with the wooden face. Depending on your budget we also have the Get Together mini which is slightly smaller but still great sound quality. We hope you find this information useful. Kind Regards, The House Of Marley Customer Services

Hi I am having an issue with my turntable. When I move the arm across to where the turntable would start it no longer will auto start? The belt is in situ and I have checked the voltage from the power supply is 12v. Any guidance? Many thanks.
Hi, I am also had the same issue. I got the player 1 week before. I let it play and did some other work. At the end of the record its automatically stops. Then after around an hour wanted to play back. But failed to rotate. Then I tried many ways to make it works. But finally I switched off from the speed selector knob and power on again. Then its worked. Always its like that. But I don't know its normal or any problem.

Hi my turntable arrived today and I have just set it up as instructed by the manual given and there seems to be an issue with the power supply as it will not turn on, what can I do here?
Try turning speed off and back on

Is there any hard cover for the turntable .
No, there isn't. It comes with a soft, "REWIND Fabric Dust Cover" as shown in the product description at: https://www.thehouseofmarley.co.uk/stir-it-up-turntable.html?gclid=CjwKCAiAqqTuBRBAEiwA7B66hYkpfwLo_-pkl1252v9uJbOxZlSDq0bE8THL57PCuIwTB45ljfqBlBoC-fEQAvD_BwE

I know that the turntable doesn’t have built in speakers. I was wondering if you would recommend the wireless speaker to go with the turntable
Dear Katuz, This model does not have the Bluetooth function however, we have a different version, the Stir It Up Wireless model EM-JT002, that wirelessly connects to any Bluetooth speaker and offers a built-in switch pre-amp allowing seamless compatibility with your Marley speakers or in-homereceivers. The Stir It Up Wireless includes a USB port for PC recording, a RCA output, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. You can find it by following the link below: https://www.thehouseofmarley.co.uk/turntables/stir-it-up-wireless.html Kind regards, Team Marley
